National Poetry Month

National Poetry Month seeks to highlight the importance of poetry in our society. Celebrations foster poetry readings, focus on the achievements of American poets, and encourage the continued publication of poetry and the support of poets.

Take time to discover the works of famous American poets at the ACC libraries.

Allen Ginsberg
Anne Sexton
Billy Collins

"I celebrate myself, and sing myself,
And what I assume you shall assume,
For every atom belonging to me as good belongs to you."
~ "Song of Myself" by Walt Whitman
