Ask a Librarian

Get help from a librarian when the library is closed

ACC Library Services is part of a group of college libraries that work together to help each other’s students late at night, in the wee hours of the morning, or anytime when the library isn’t open.

As we approach May intersession when ACC Library and ACC Librarian hours vary, you can still get help through our 24/7 chat service called AskAcademic. Professional, academic librarians will answer your questions, but may also refer you to an ACC Librarian for follow-up help.

Many ACC Library resources are available to you 24/7 such as e-books, Films on Demand, article databases and e-resources, even your library account. Through AskAcademic, we've extended access to library services by providing free, online research and information help for ACC students, faculty, and staff!

Go to the Library's homepage to chat with a librarian

The library's website has answers to a lot of FAQs, but a librarian can help you save time when you can't seem to find what you're looking for quickly.

If you need help figuring out which keywords to use to search the library's e-resources, help with citing sources in your research paper, or other general information about the library, then chat with a librarian!

ACC Librarians are available to teach classes upon faculty's request and always look forward to demonstrating what the library offers.

Remember, when the library is open you'll chat with an ACC Librarian, when the library is closed an AskAcademic Librarian will help you!
